Avi Multi-Cluster Kubernetes Operator Version 1.9 Release Notes

The Avi Vantage platform integration with OpenShift/ Kubernetes an operator called Avi Multi-Cluster Kubernetes Operator (AMKO) to facilitate multi-cluster application deployments. The following illustration outlines the components of the Avi Kubernetes integration.

What’s New in AMKO Version 1.9.1

• Support for Kubernetes v1.25 and OpenShift Container Platform 4.11.

• AMKO support for GslbService property Down Response via GlobalDeploymentPolicy and GSLBHostRule.

Issues Resolved in AMKO Version 1.9.1

• UUID is not being federated across member clusters.

Known Issue in AMKO Version 1.9.1

• Symptom: AMKO fails to create GSLB services with site persistence enabled for controller versions above 22.1.2.
  Workaround: Set the client API version to 22.1.2 or lower.
